  • We do not sell your personal data or use it for advertising.
  • You can ask us at any time to see, correct or delete it.

2. Personal data we collect

  • Quote request form: full name, company, phone number, email address (optional), your message, and the page from which you sent it, with the date and time.
  • Service request form: the same details, plus the machine model and serial number.
  • Technical data: when you visit the website, the servers that deliver it record standard technical information, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to keep the website secure and working.

Fields marked * are needed to answer your request; without them we cannot respond. Please do not send sensitive personal data, such as financial, health or identity documents, through the forms.

3. Why we process it

  • To answer your request: to prepare a quotation, give technical information, arrange installation, service, calibration or spare parts, and follow up on that request.
  • To work with you as a customer: when your request leads to an order, to carry out the order and the support that follows.
  • To meet legal obligations: for example, keeping business and tax records as Indian law requires.
  • To keep the website secure: to detect and prevent misuse of the website and its forms.

We process your data on the basis of the consent you give, and the purpose for which you voluntarily provide it, when you send a form, as the DPDP Act allows, and to meet our legal obligations. We do not use it for unrelated purposes or for advertising.

4. How we process it

Your data is processed with computers and IT tools, using organisational and technical procedures limited to the purposes above. It can be seen only by authorised ABS India staff who need it (sales, service and administration) and by trusted service providers, such as website hosting, email and IT providers, who act as our Data Processors under contract and process the data only on our instructions.

5. Who we share it with

  • Authorised ABS India staff.
  • Our Data Processors, as described above.
  • The machine’s manufacturer, CMS SpA (Italy) or Mikrosam DOO (North Macedonia), only when it is needed to prepare your quotation or to provide technical service, and only the details of that request.
  • Government or regulatory authorities, when the law requires it.

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data.

6. Transfers outside India

Your data is processed at our offices in Bengaluru. Some of our service providers may store data on servers outside India, and details shared with a manufacturer go to Italy or North Macedonia. Any such transfer is limited to the purposes above and is made in line with the DPDP Act, which allows the Government of India to restrict transfers to particular countries.

7. How long we keep it

We keep your data for as long as it is needed for the purposes in section 3, including our continuing business relationship with you, and for as long as Indian law requires us to keep business records. You can ask us at any time to delete it (see section 8), and we will, unless the law requires us to keep it.

8. Your rights

As a Data Principal under the DPDP Act, you have the right to:

  • get a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we process it;
  • have your data corrected, completed, updated or erased;
  • withdraw your consent at any time, as easily as you gave it (this does not affect processing already done);
  • nominate another person to exercise your rights if you die or are unable to do so; and
  • have your grievances addressed.

To use any of these rights, write to sales@absindia.in with the subject “Personal data”. We may ask you to confirm your identity before we act on the request, and we reply within the time the DPDP Act and its rules allow.
